Description: Stormwater Treatment Units from the Town’s most files of Site Plans have been traced by the Town of Chelmsford Engineering Division employees. The plans were inserted as images into AutoCAD drawing O:\Engineering\Christina\Drain Mapping\Detention Basins\dwg\Detention Basins.dwg and traced based on Town Base Maps from 1988 located in an AutoCAD drawing location O:\Engineering\projects\GIS-Cadd\2008-drainage.dwg. The Stormwater Treatment Units were made into polygons, then object data, then attributes were added to the object data. These polygons were then converted to a shapefile. The mapping took place from April-May 2015 by the Engineering Division Staff. Once Stormwater Treatment Units are inspected, rebuilt, repaired and/or maintained, this data can be edited to reflect the most current information. Elevations are based on NGVD 1929 or that of the reference plan.
